The Seefeld Olympic region, twice the venue for the Nordic competitions for the Olympic winter games in 1964 and 1976 is considered to be the Mecca of cross-country skiing. Almost the entire elite of the world has trained and participated in competitions here.

The Nordic competence centre provides two completely new ski jumps, one biathlon system with the most modern state-of-the-art technology, cross-country trails coupled with a snow cannon (an artificial snow blower), and in summer, a roller ski route - the non-plus ultra in the alpine space.
