Around Weidachsee (walk around the lake)
Route: from Leutasch / Weidach around the lake
Walking time: approx. 50 minutes
At Forellenhof in Weidach walk left along lakeshore, the path climbs briefly up to Bruthaus; keep right and continue downward to lakeshore and back to Forellenhof.
Leutascher Geisterklamm – Im Reich des Klammgeistes (in the realm of the spirit of flume)
Route: Leutasch / Schanz, parking at Leutascher Geisterklamm – Leutascher Geisterklamm – Mittenwald
Walking time: Klammgeistweg: approx. 1 ½ hours, Koboldpfad: approx. 1 hour, Wasserfallweg: approx. 15 minutes
You will reach the flume after Wasserfallsteig (500 m length) and an approx. 500-meter walk from a bridge at the town entrance of Mittenwald. A trail just three meter above water leads to a 23 m immense waterfall (admission fee).
Ganghoferweg in Gaistal
Route: Leutasch / parking at Salzbachbrücke – Gaistalalm – Tillfußalm
Walking time: approx. 3 hours
The trail begins at parking area Salzbach. After hiking about 200 m and a short climb a cozy, traffic and dust-free trail will follow below Hämmermoosalm to Gaistalalm and Tillfußalm, which is located below the hunting lodge “Hubertus”.
Öfen – Salzbach – Hämmermoosalm
Route: Leutasch – Öfen – Salzbach – Hämmermoosalm
Walking time: approx. 1 ½ hours
At Mauthäuschen (tollbooth) in the flume cross the ache and follow Beckumerweg to Salzbach. Continue on road approx. 200 m along Gaistal, turn right into beautifully landscaped and traffic and dust-free Ganghoferweg. From there you can reach Hämmermoosalm, Gaistalalm and Tillfußalm.
Achweg Obern – Ahrn
Route: Leutasch / Obern (bridge) – Ahrn
Walking time: approx. 2 hours
In Obern from bridge along the ache, pass town districts of Platzl, Aue and Kirchplatzl. Pass Alpenbad and walk to Weidach and from there to Ahrn. Optional to continue hiking to Unterleutasch.
Friedenswanderweg
Route: Mösern / parking at Seewaldalm – Möserer See – Friedensglocke
Walking time: approx. 90 minutes
There are 7 stops from Mösern to Möserer See, around lake, toward Hotel Tyrol continue to Gasthof Menthof and to Möserer Kirchl. The hike ends at Friedensglocke (peace bell).
